  • THE PROBLEM

    In Los Angeles County alone, once a foster youth ages out of the system, only two out of ten will make it in life. The rest will end up homeless, on drugs, incarcerated, or dead before their 24th birthday!

    In California 4,000 18-year old youths will “age out” of the foster care system and will no longer receive state care. 65% are homeless, only 2% attend college, 51% are unemployed and 46% have not completed high school.
